I have been shooting both stills and moving work for over forty years. Rarely have I found a lens that can deliver optical excellence to this standard. It is a joy to shoot with, knowing your images will be super sharp (with the right settings). The lend is bulky and heavy, but I feel this is a small price to pay for the quality. It depends on your needs and requirements.

This is a very well built lens. Slightly on the heavy side but not a problem.
Image quality is very good corner at f1.2
The aperture ring in the click mode the f stops are a bit random and one click is not 1 or 1/3 of a stop.
The only negative is the aperture ring can be rotated continually in the same direction when you get to Auto you don’t get any viable indication in the VF you are now in auto aperture mode.
The images from this lens are excellent
With slight chromatic aberrations in the corners at f1.2 but stop this lens down 1 stop and it cleans the corners up nicely.
In my personal opinion this lens would be better of with a stop on the aperture ring I see no point of the aperture ring going round endlessly.
Would I recommend this lens absolutely.
